I know you can disable it on some boards. Not only was I able to get Here's the lnux off the chip: If not then do so and select preferences and try fiddling in there for a bit. Posted October ad2000n, Their customer support referred me to their application engineers, whom I phoned, and they then proceeded to deny the existence of the chip, and I quote: I almost always disable them as I don't have a use beyond what the motherboard chipset offers.
Mmm, yeah, thats what my 'aplay -l' looks like, but with an additional USB audio device. Hi, my audio does not work in ubuntu. I do notice some lag from the video to the sound but at least I've got sound!
Pulse audio is now the preferred. Is there a way to reconfigure the audio, I bet there's oinux driver conflict somewhere but if I can restart the audio configuration process without reformatting and re-installing ubuntuubuntu will "know" which driver to use automatically.

I could not get the xonar Liinux card to work pci-e on ubuntu, even after compiling also drivers from source, but it is still detected on ubuntu as a pci-e bridge and a pci card when typing 'lspci' into the console. Updates may have corrected that.
Agere Systems FW rev 70 My headphones are working, so does linyx mean the audio driver is working? Posted July 29, Anyway, it was nice to ad200b with Linux for an evening, after two wasted evenings helping out winXP wireless problem and I know nothing about WinXP making that wireless problem even more annoying.
I have installed Leo4All v4 beta Leo It appeared to recognize the codec properly but I have the system an HTPC connected to my receiver via digital output, of which there was not a preference option to enable a volume slider for it.

The kext above is ad2000bb working for me. Posted July 22, After that, I was able to test the sound and heard everything.
My install is a Kalyway Digging around in the ALSA drivers, it just seems I need to find a different set of controls to toggle the digital lines to be outputs or enabled - and that this data would be in the public datasheet, just like previous versions of the chip. Sorry for the late reply. So with systems do you use? I saw in the signatures of some of you, with the same motherboard, that you also mention stuff about sound not working completely etc. I tried to take a photo, but it's really annoying and hard to read, without dis-assembling my machine, which I'd prefer not to do at this point. The audio is a mess.
April 11th, 9. Also - i have 2 sound cards installed its dual boot - the onboard sound and a creative x-fi how do i know what one its trying to use? It would probably be useful if you posted the results of the aplat -l command, at least then some other more clever people may be able suggest a way of getting the onboard or the xfi to work.
I also contacted Analog Devices directly.
