Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro graphics card - Permedia 2 - 8 MB Series

Summary This driver is the best for windows 98, but it doesn't worl with windowsd XP!! Note that your submission may not appear immediately on 1000 site. Installation Installation of the FireGL was a snap. The only real disadvantage of this card is the lack of 'alpha transparency' support.

FireGL Pro by Diamond. Firehl The usual tests were run using Winbench 3D 98 and Winbench A little note, get the latest drivers from Diamond if you want to run Quake II with the card. Since you've already submitted a review for this product, this submission will be added as an update to your original review. Since its first release the drivers have improved a lot, particularly improving the performance in 3D Winbench As long as games use 'color key transparency', you won't notice the lack of 'alpha transparency' either, but even the black smoke in Motoracer is already a hint that games are using this feature.
